Social Sleuth

Hello June,

You may be expecting a new Episode of Social Sleuth… I have some good news and some bad news.

Bad news first. No new episode this month. I was on vacation, celebrating my birthday, and overall dropped the ball scheduling a guest – I tried brainstorming a solo episode and it just didn’t feel right. I assure you next month will be back on track.

BUT I was working on something special, a new area of my page, and a new newsletter. druuuum rolllll pleaaaase.

To coincide with my podcast and diary, I thought I needed to branch out a bit more. I am passionate about more than just surveillance and memes - and I didn’t want to make the scope of Social Sleuth larger at this time. So I bring you my words.

As the page will tell you this space will hold long-form opinion-forward articles, written by me at one point or another.

You can expect four different categories of writing:

Biopolitics & Bodies (Politics of our bodies, who lives, who doesn’t)

Global Grievances (Historical injustices and the paths forward)

Culture Clash (An excuse for me to write about pop-culture and art)

Digital Discourse (What is happening in the digital world, after-pay on a burrito, betting on federal elections, you name it i’ll be unpacking it)

As always I am open to suggestions on anything you’d like me to use my sleuthing skills for.
